LIM College's MBA program welcomes a new class of students each September. Please review our admissions procedure below. You may select any item to view more detailed information about each admission requirement.
The priority application deadline for the MBA program is March 30, 2015.
You may start your application online. A non-refundable $40 application fee can be paid by credit card upon submitting the application.
Candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the U.S. or an undergraduate degree from a foreign country. For applicants who obtained a bachelor's degree from a U.S. institution, an official transcript from the institution from which the applicant graduated is required. All other colleges/universities attended at the undergraduate and graduate level may be requested in order to make an admission decision. If the undergraduate degree was completed outside of the United States, MBA applicants must provide a degree evaluation from a foreign credential evaluation service that is a member of NACES (www.naces.org/members.htm) or AACRAO International Education Services. A course-by-course evaluation is needed for MBA applicants.
Two Letters of Recommendation
These recommendation may come from academic or professional sources. The recommender can write a letter, send an email to GraduateStudies@limcollege.edu, or may fill out an online recommendation. You can nominate your recommenders and contact them through our online application.
You may choose to have an in-person interview or to have the interview by phone. Appointment for an interview can be made by emailing GraduateStudies@limcollege.edu.
GMAT or GRE Policy
An official GMAT or GRE score report is required from MBA applicants. A waiver may granted in the following instances.
- if you have five or more years of relevant work experience showing increasing levels of managerial responsibility
- if you can provide evidence of a fashion-related entrepreneurial venture that has been executed and is currently running
If you feel that your professional background might qualify for the GMAT or GRE waiver, you may indicate this as part of your online application. The Graduate Admissions Committee reserves the right to render a final decision to either waive or require the GMAT/GRE for consideration for admission tot he MBA program.
International Students (Language Proficiency)
International students (with specific exceptions) must show proof of language proficiency. Please review our policies to determine if you will be required to submit test results.
