The Center for Graduate Studies in conjunction with the Department of Experiential Education and Career Mangament supports all LIM College graduate students in developing their career goals. This is accomplished through both in-person and online services which provide the necessary tools to help students make self-directed decisions.
Graduate students are provided with resources to assist with both internship and job selection. Services include:
- One-on-one career counseling and advising sessions
- Workshops on career skills covering topics such topics as professional writing, self-branding and interviewing techniques
- Online research and self-assessment tools
- Symplicity, our online posting system for internships and jobs
- Advice on strategic job search methods and effectively promoting yourself in the workplace
- Career coaching in areas such as assertiveness, communication skills, and self-presentation
