Getting started in a new career is all about gaining access to the right opportunities. If you’re interested in starting a career in the fashion industry and you already have a bachelor’s degree, LIM College has the perfect solution. LIM College’s Access program offers students who already hold a bachelor’s degree the opportunity to earn an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Fashion Merchandising by completing 33 credits at LIM College in just two semesters (one academic year).

How Access Works

LIM College is devoted exclusively to the study of business and fashion, we offer a unique combination of academic expertise and hands-on industry experience. First, you’ll come to our midtown Manhattan campus and meet with an academic advisor, who will evaluate your academic and professional history and talk to you about your career goals. If you qualify for Access and are accepted into the program, we’ll help you get started right away. You may enroll in Access as a part time or full time student.

As a full time student, you’ll spend two semesters at LIM College, earning a total of 33 credits. A three-credit internship—the Junior Work Project—is an essential part of the program and can be completed during either the first or second semester. The Work Project supplements what you learn in class and provides a strong foundation in practical experience. As a student, you’ll be able to take advantage of LIM College’s extensive industry connections.
